KS operation is more about placement and block material, GM moved the KS back to the side of the block at one point from the lifter valley, maybe look over one those tunes and see if you can correlate to yours

I'll have to look through hptuners again but I'm pretty sure 0411 ecus from 5.3s have the option to rearrange the firing order in hptuners. Anything else I might run into? you would think that's how it works but it don't, same with the transmission selection drop down...it doesn't really do anythin...

Just to recap in regard to the tuning; I have been doing more reading on this and I honesty can't understand why I would need to "segment" swap anything. Maybe someone can explain this to me. Here's my thoughts on the matter. Assuming since all 0411s are created equal, and pinned the same... any 04...

Re: Adding 0411 ECM to IV BBC

The 0411 I got is from a 2002 Silverado 4x4. I am assuming I can flash it with 02/03 Vette Segment without a problem? I am considering having a spacer made, changing my balancer and mounting the 24x externally. My plan for the cam sensor is to get a distributor for a 97 Vortec 7400, I believe that i...

my opinion: That is a lot of work just to have mediocre engine potential, you'd be way ahead going with a carb LS based engine or go all out EFI. Pull outs are relatively cheap and aftermarket parts are plentiful. That 4L60E wont last very behind a big block or a mild small block. I think you'll nee...

Re: 99 Yukon L31 0411 tuning

I finally subscribed to the forum after trolling it numerous times, especially on the marine intake sticky. My name is Jim and I have some tuning to do and have a few questions to anyone who has HP Tuners. First the vehicle. 99 Yukon Denali. Built 383, LT4 hot cam, 1.5 rockers e-tech 170 heads, mar...

sound like an NV4500, used in 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks..very durable for pulling/towing...unsure of high performance durability, I would imagine it would hold up as long as your not beating on it every time you turn the key

I have a E85 station a mile away. If I go methanol I still have to find/buy it. I DO care about the earth we live on, this truck is not doing any favors. Lucky it's a toy and not an everyday driver, just wanting the best performance. Expect about 40hp/50tq going from gas to E85, with proper tuning....

On my 1996, I had to leave the low press switch connected for the AC fan control to work (compressor disengaged when I unplugged it). Maybe you could wire yours to work too.

Would raising fan on/off pressure help? What do you have yours set to?

Finally got my fans working with AC fan control, Yay !! Fans are wired series/parallel like F-body/2005 Silverado. I performed a system segment swap from an F-Body file along with the AC pressure transducer for the AC fan control
