Well, I done rode the copper mine into the toilet, but today's news is heartening... supposedly if the long term financing is approved this one is going to take off, but you know how that is. Plus, they are supposed to be moving ore. Be advised though, at this point I am down by 85 percent, but I still see a long term profit in this one and am thinking about throwing good money after bad :D. My record on the stock market has not been the greatest though.

Copper King Mining Updates Progress
8:36a ET February 16, 2010 (Business Wire)
Copper King Mining (CPRK: Pinksheets) wishes to announce it is nearing completion of substantial upgrades to its flotation mill. Additional cells have been added on both the top floor and lower floor. This is expected to substantially help increase recovery of gold, silver and copper, as well as allow substantial increased tonnage through the mill. Increased production is expected to commence at the completion of all the new mill upgrades. The company intends to put more focus on the gold portion of its ore bodies in deposits owned in several different mining districts to help increase gold bearing mill feed.

Further the company wishes to announce it is working hard to complete the necessary paperwork to obtain Pinksheet compliance.

In addition, the company is in advanced stages of negotiations with lenders for both short and long term financings. Proposals have been received and are currently being reviewed with an eye toward the possibility of selecting one that is flexible ASAP.

The company is installing, pending final permits, its cement copper circuit. This is expected to produce a less pure form of copper than the SX/EW plant but still a very substantial contribution to the daily copper output. The same leach circuit used for the cement copper will be used for the SX/EW plant when it becomes available.

I stumbled onto a group of guys playing penny stocks that have accumulated 20 million more shares than the available 59 million float. Link to this group is above.

Forget chart analysis. Don't waste time researching this company. This is a float lockdown play. A short squeeze is coming. Once the short squeeze begins, I am looking for 5x to 10x.

Here is a chart from a past float lockdown the same bunch of guys did. -

I recently sold all the 'F' stock you guys may remember I accumulated a while back. I have played with a few stocks along the way but nothing amounted to much. CDIV is different though. Very different and I thought you guys may want in too.

Good luck to you all!

Hey Pecos,

It's good to hear from you. Some of the guys have been worried.

I made a buy of C some time ago when it was at 4.39. Have been waiting to get my money back.

I know I should have cut my losses when it started to dip, but human nature you know.

.
Mr. Alan Mullaly, CEO of Ford Motor Company, who has turned that company around.

As some of you may know following this thread in the past, I purchased a ton of Ford stock some time ago. Much of it was at a PPS of less than $2. I held on to all of it for a minimum of one year and one day to minimize taxes, and have now sold all of it, much of it sold for a PPS of just over $12. Cha-ching.

I drive a Ford Mustang now.

I truly wish GM would have been the leaders here, but it was not to be. Things may have been different had they hired Speeder to be their Head of Marketing back when he volunteered for the job, lol. Some of the changes that are being forced on GM now are eerily similar to some of the suggestions Jim made a long time ago. Cutting back on the number of different flavors of the same vehicle as they are now doing was needed over a decade ago. Cutting back on the number of dealers, trimming out the poor performing ones, was also long over do. And my personal pet peeve was finally the elimination the legacy of dealers children getting preferential treatment when looking to create new dealer ships, or take over existing ones from a family member. Nepotism should never be more important than business acumen.

I have been reinvesting much of the gains Mr. Mullaly provided me into CDIV. This one is a monster in the making. It is not a play on company fundamentals, or chart analysis. It is a float lock up. Still not too late for anyone to get in as the short squeeze has not started yet. The base is still forming.

Here is a definition of a short squeeze, also called a float lock up - http://www.investopedia.com/terms/s/shortsqueeze.asp

Here is a link to the CDIV board so anyone can follow along as this one evolves - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/bo ... d_id=12076

For anyone not able to buy into CDIV at this time, understand I have found a group of people that search for and play penny stocks this way; float lock-ups.

Here is a very good explaination of the game plan by the team leader 'Monk'. He is ex Navy and runs a tight ship lol - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/re ... d=45578589

This group seem to have 2 or 3 stocks in play at any one time. You have got to follow them for a while by reading their board. Watch, converse, and learn, then join in when you are ready. This is what I did. If/when CDIV runs as expected, I will take profits and reinvest most of this into one of their next float lock-up plays. I will not be able to retire from my 9 to 5 if/when CDIV runs 5x to 10x from where it is today as they are speculating (~.35 is the PPS as I write this post), but I will likely continue rolling profits from one to the next, I will be able to soon enough.

Here is an attempt at chart analysis for CDIV. I say attempt because it defys most traditional analysis metrics because it is a float lock-up.

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/re ... d=47346077

Here is a funny video analysis. The presenter 'trys' to perform a traditional chart analysis and it just won't work, so he switches to a 60 minute time scale from a daily one, and it still defys his analysis tools.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfrLlpmHgSc

Again, traditional analysis will not work because it is a float lock up play.

You may or may not like the penny stock game these guys play, but it is a game they do seem to play very very well, and they do it in a way that individual investors are not left behind holding devaluing shares of stock when they move on to the next. It is the Market Makers themselves that are caught in the squeeze holding naked short shares of the stock, something they should not be doing anyway. These MM’s are ultimately forced to cover their short positions to stay out of trouble with the SEC by purchasing on the open market the much more expensive shares of stock that actually exist from individual stockholders like you and me.

Here is a link to the home base for these guys - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/bo ... rd_id=2052

Here are links to two other stocks these guys have in play at the moment - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/bo ... d_id=10071

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/bo ... ard_id=532

Good luck to all. Happy trails.

After taking a beating on CPRK for weeks, hitting a low of 81 percent lost, CPRK is turning around. It closed up 85 percent today (I'm still down 50 percent). I'm a day late and a dollar short here, payday was today and I sent another 500 to my trading account. May not be able to get the cash in the can before it hits a few more huge gains. Supposedly they are sitting on 5 billion dollars worth of copper at today's prices if the message boards are anything to go by, but that's hearsay. With any luck it'll go north of a dime, and my wildest dreams involve a sudden acceleration to about 15 bucks a share. I've owned a penny stock before that did this, made me enough off that deal to pay my way out of some debt and put a nice down payment on that POS 99 Silverado that brought me to this site. Making the switch from a venture to a working company is what makes a penny stock fly, and this company looks to be making that switchover right now. This is almost as good as a biotech announcing FDA approval for a brand new class of drugs, cause they will go from penny to double digit dollars in the course of an hour.

Homework assignment

Post by Pecos »

I thought some of you might want more information on what I have stumbled onto.

Dr Byrne is a onetime CEO of a company Warren Buffett owned. Dr Byrne went on to start a company called Overstock.com, a company that became a target of short selling Market Makers in the early 2000’s. Dr Byrne has since become an advocate against this practice by Market Makers, even taking some Market Makers to court over their illegal practices.

The first link below is a slide show Dr Byrne has created and is circulating around the internet to make people aware of this illegal practice.

Your assignment is to watch the show.

The first 66 slides of this show (over 100 slides total) are the ‘meat’ of his presentation. The rest are examples and supporting information. To watch the entire slide show in real time will consume over an hour, so get comfortable before you start. You can fast forward or repeat as you wish by clicking on the individual slides on the left hand side.

http://www.businessjive.com/

Here is a bit of background on Dr Byrne

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_M._Byrne

http://www.overstock.com/naked-short-selling.html

http://cdn.overstock.com/07-0202_LegalDoc_PRIME.pdf

So much for the basic education.

The reason I think all of the above is interesting is a group of individuals in a chat room(s) i posted about above above is somehow able to identify penny stocks that are being targeted by MM's in this way.

I stumbled onto an internet chat room provider called iHub. Within iHub are chat rooms for individual stocks, or groups of people that talk about stocks. Within this is a chat room run by a ex Navy officer referred to as ‘Monk’. Somehow Monk is able to identify penny stock companies that are ‘in-play’ by the Market Makers, are victims of large amounts of short selling, and has created a team of individual stock investors that attempt to turn the tables around on this practice and beat the Market Makers at their own game.

All for now. Happy Trails

CDIV getting 'Jiggy' this week. IMO short squeeze is near.

Post by Pecos »

Here is an annotated chart of EVCC, a stock that was pushed to a short squeeze a year or so back by the same group of people that is pushing CDIV now, and will be moving the proceeds on to EIGH once CDIV pops.

EVCC chart -

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/re ... d=47180502

Watch the pattern shown on the EVCC chart to repeat. Jump into CDIV (or later into EIGH if CDIV has already popped) whenever you are comfortable doing so.

CDIV chart -

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/re ... d=48712939

EIGH chart -

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/re ... d=45106189

This group if investors has more than one stock in play at any point in time. Do not be concerned with buying at the lowest price per share and selling at the highest, all you have to do is buy on a dip, and hold for a x10 return, sell, then move the proceeds to the next play for another x10 return. Now you have a x100 effective return. Plow these returns into a third play and get another x10 return. Now you have a x1000 return. If this works (and I am a believer it will work) $100 > $1000 > $100,000 > retirement in ~ 2 years for anyone starting now.

I have been at this for a while now so if CDIV is to squeeze north of $5, then I will be able to say 'good by' to my 9 to 5. It could happen. If not, then EIGH will be the ticket for me.

Here are a few more informative posts for any interested to learn more -

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/re ... d=48760316

Watch CDIV unfold in the coming weeks and learn. Good luck to all.
