Anyone with some spare bucks. EIGH is currently going for about .38 cents a share. They just announced that they are going to be paying a MINIMUM 10 cents per share dividend. You must be a shareholder by close of business today, and be holding at close of business Thursday. I have no idea how long after that you might need to hold. The dividend is payable mid-October. At current prices that would be about a 25 to 30 percent gain on your money. Big opportunity here folks.

My last suggestion fizzled. No more ideas from me until after I make money off them, but by then it'll be too late.

Don't know if anything is a good investment. I guess that i'm kinda worried. Glen Beck is talking about how everyone needs to start stockpiling food and buying gold since inflation is coming. A loaf of bread will be $20 in a few years some say. I don't necessarily think things will get that bad, but I don't see any reason to celebrate either.

The stock market is going up, but i don't see any real reason for it. We keep increasing our debt and the business community doesn't want to hire or expand until obama can show some stability or stop trying to run us into the ground. They also say that this year will not be a very good holiday season since a lot of people are still afraid of being laid off, so why go spend a bunch of money. I'm sure some of you guys could say this a lot better than me, but people just don't see any reason to relax and live life as normal.

Sometimes I wonder if things will ever get back to what we remember as normal.

If the Bernake had given me a billion dollars, I would have bought commodities too. Think about it, some guy up and prints you a bunch of money and gives it to you. What the hell do you think that money is worth? Shit, get rid of that "money" ASAP. If they're giving it away, it can't be worth much.

So, it isn't speculators. It isn't higher demand. It is the devaluation of the dollar. And, our politicians can't seem to grasp that "reducing" the deficit doesn't mean squat. Hello? You must eliminate the deficit! You must stop spending more than you have! Where did these idiots go to school? Are we so far down Dumb St. that the majority thinks they can just keep getting new credit cards to pay off the old credit cards?

And another thing.

You know how all the states are going through all this wailing and knashing of the teeth this year trying to balance the budget?

I think that if we hadn't propped everybody up for the last 2 years with stimulus money we would have had to go through this hard decision period 2 years ago and we would be on the way to recovery by now.

Instead we just delayed the inevitable with money we didn't have. So now we are deeper in debt and we still have to balance our budgets.

But no we have to spend our way out of the recession. Really, whose house does that work in?
